Estimates and invoices
Recurring invoices
A recurring template is a schedule, not an overwritten forever-document. Every run creates an ordinary independent invoice.
01
Template and line items
Set name, client, subject, currency, language, terms, line items, discount, tax and notes. These values seed future invoices.
- An existing invoice can serve as the starting point for a new template.
- Template edits affect future invoices only, never documents already generated.
02
Cadence and lifetime
Schedule by weeks, months or years with a count, next issue date, anchor day, optional end date and end-of-month rule.
- On the scheduled date, buezli.app creates a normal invoice draft and calculates the next date.
- No invoices are generated after the end date.
03
Understand recurring revenue
The overview annualizes each active template into yearly recurring revenue (YRR) and divides that run rate by twelve for monthly recurring revenue (MRR).
- Paused, archived and ended templates do not count.
- Amounts stay separated by currency instead of using an invented conversion.
04
Pause, resume and history
Pause active templates and resume them later. The detail page lists invoices generated from the template.
- Pausing does not affect invoices already generated.
- Resuming keeps the next scheduled invoice date in place.
